OPEN HOUSE is Thursday, Feb 5th at 6pm. Please mark your calendar. 

STUDENTS:

•We will no longer be serving nutrition to students that are not in the line when the bell sounds ending nutrition. If the student is in line when the bell rings they will be served. Thanks

•Attention Juniors and Seniors who took the CAHSEE this past November and PASSED ELA ,Math or both parts of the CAHSEE will be recognized for their accomplishments. When: Thursday, January 29 at 11am ( during period 3) Where: HHS LibraryYou will receive a pass during period 2 with your invitation. Any questions see Mrs. Villa

•For those of you that have Saturday School make Sure you Attend every Saturday from 8:00AM to 12:00PM or you will NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE DANCE on Feb.13. If you have any questions go see Mrs. Franco to Room 47A during nutrition.

•The Cash for College FAFSA/Dream Act Application Workshop will be held on January 28th in rooms 14 and 15 from 6:00- 8:00pm.  Financial Aid experts from Oxnard College will be there to help you with the online application.  Students who attend will have an opportunity to win a $1,500 scholarship.  See Mrs. Creager in room 85 to get the information of what to bring to successfully complete the application.

•ATTENTION SENIORS,  SENIOR SWEATERS AND TSHIRTS ARE HERE! You can buy them at lunch at the bookkeeper’s window! Tshirts and sweatshirts bought together will be $40; but if purchased separately, tshirts are $10 and sweatshirts are $35.  There are a limited amount of tshirts left, so get them while we still have them!

•The Law Enforcement Academy is now accepting applicants for it’s second semester class.  This program is offered through the Oxnard Police department in conjunction with the Oxnard Union High School District.  If you are interested in attending please see MS. BOGAN for the application.  The class is held at Oxnard High School on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 4:00pm – 6 Pm.  You must provide your own transportation

Chess Club: We are having a chess match between students and teachers next week during lunch.  All levels are invited to participate. Students and teachers, if you would like to participate, please see Ms. Gomez-Font in room 31.
