GRADUATION

STUDENTS:

•Start cleaning out your lockers!

•Textbook notices-  1st NOTICE: “SENIORS: All Seniors must have all their accounts cleared prior to the Prom and any other “ Extracurricular” activities.  Please return all overdue textbook at the “Textbook window” and drop all late library books at the library “Drop box” located at the front counter in the library.  To see about your account on “lost books, other existing fines”  see either Mr. Graves in the library or Mrs. Trude in textbooks.” 2ND NOTICE: “Under classmen: Please return all overdue textbooks/library books to the appropriate departments.   If you have late library books, there is a drop box located at the front of the counter in the library.  Any and all Textbooks need to be returned at the textbook window.  To see about your account on “lost books, other existing fines”  see either Mr. Graves in the library or Mrs. Trude in textbooks.”

•All library books are due back by Friday, May 22nd.

•EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: Students will no longer be allowed to park in the Bard Road parking lot. If you are seen parking there, you will be asked to move your car. Mr. Gomez (and/or other HHS employees) will be monitoring the parking lot every morning beginning Monday,  March 16th  . We have had a problem with not having enough parking spots for employees, parents  and visitors. Employees will soon be issued a parking permit. You must have a parking permit to park in the Bard Road parking lot. There is plenty of room for students to park in the C Street and F Street parking lots. Thank you for your cooperation.

•We have four new and improved water filtration bottle fillers.   The filter system is a Haws 5 micron in line water filter.   Everyone can now enjoy an improved taste in four of our water fountains!   You can drink from the water faucet and fill your water bottles. Locations: By the nurse’s office , By the girls’ locker room, By the boys’ locker room, By the textbook room.

•You can buy your yearbook for $80 (but with a yellow flyer you can still get the $75 price. If your name and page number are written on the yellow flyer). Purchase your prom tickets and save $10 off your yearbook. So if a student purchases prom ticket they can get their 2015 yearbook for $70. (Not $80). All yearbook students can get the $65 price for the book.You can still get the two-for both 2014 and 2015 yearbooks For $90

•Students! This is your LAST chance to turn in your academy applications to be included in the Engineering & Design Academy for next year! If you are worried about not fitting it in your schedule, turn in your application and we will see if it fits. Please take your app to room 16 as soon as possible! Don’t miss out on being part of a fun program!

•New and Returning Dance Club Members! There will be a mandatory meeting on Wed. Jan. 21 in room 58 at the beginning of lunch.  Come right away so you don’t miss any important announcements.

SPORTS:

•THRU June : Gold Coast Wind Ensemble rehearsals @ band room (RM 101). Mondays at 7pm

•Thru Spring Season: Volleyball practice, HHS gym. Daily 2-7p. Sat 9a-12p.

•Thru May: Swim Practice, HHS gym. Mon/Tues 7-830p, Sat 1-230p.

•Thru June: Boys Basketball practice, HHS gym. Mon/Tues 7-830p. Sat 9-11am.

•Attention all student athletes who are interested in running cross country next school year 2015/2016 we are having a meeting in room 35 next Wednesday, June 3rd during lunch. All returners meeting will be Tuesday June 2nd during lunch in room 35.
