•AVOID THE TADY SWEEPS!  Teachers will close their doors at the TARDY bell.  Students will NOT be allowed to class without a tardy pass.  If you are tardy period 1, pick up your tardy pass at the front office window.  If you are tardy periods 2 THRU 6, pick up your tardy pass in Room 47a.

•A reminder that the ONLY electronic devices permitted on campus are cell phones, and ONLY at lunch and Nutrition. No headphones, ear buds or other electronics are permitted at ANY time.

•Students are not permitted to park in the front lot, and the area behind the library is closed during lunch.

•Thank you for using the red trash cans for TRASH and the blue recycle bins for recyclable plastic and glass containers.



•Yearbook will be selling “Boo grams” for Halloween. Boo Grams are $2 and $3 for a personalized one. The “Boos” will be delivered on Friday before Halloween during 3rd and 4th period. Order now in room 42.

•And at lunch on October 30, the Anime Club will host the cosplay/costume contest in the quad at lunch.  All students and faculty/staff are invited to participate! Dress in your best costumes and show off your amazing cosplays! Sorry, no masks are allowed to cover your face that day.  No pajamas or lingerie are allowed, either!  Make sure your costume is appropriate, for the best costumes and cosplay skills will win 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes!



• Yearbook is now accepting your baby pictures and senior quotes!  It will cost $5 to have your baby picture in the yearbook, and only $1 for your senior quote.  See Yearbook Advisor Ms Humphrey in Rm 42 for more information.

•AND SENIORS!  There will be a Senior class meeting at TOMORROW Rm 83.  All seniors are welcome to come and check out the senior sweatshirt design!



•Everyone can check out the latest Viking Activities on our online school newspaper, the Voyager.  Check it out at hhsvoyager.org

•AcaDeca meets Mondays and Fridays at lunch in Rm 67.  Stop by, and bring a friend!

•The Boys and Girls Club Job Ready program will meet Wednesday at 3:15 in Rm 3 with Mr. Thomas. Everyone in the program needs to stop by. See you then. Thank you.

•October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!  PEER RESOURCE will sell pink ribbons for Breast Cancer Awareness for 25 cents.  Please support this wonderful cause!

•The Surf & Skate Club will be meeting in Rm 12 on Wednesday at Lunch in Rm 12.  Not a member? No problem.  Can’t surf or skate? No problem.  All you need is interest.  All are welcomed. Remember, Wednesday, Lunch, Rm 12.

•Gay Straight Alliance, or GSA, meets Tuesdays in Rm P2 and Thursdays in Rm 40.  Come join Gay Straight Alliance!

•The Fashion Club will meet on Wednesday @lunch Rm35

•The newly formed BEYONCE CLUB will meet on Wednesday in Rm 22.

•and the YES Academy is selling athletics and spirit buttons in the quad.  Designs for all fall sports and graduating classes are available for only $1 each.



•There will be a baseball meeting after school on Wednesday in the weight room.

•Girls! Are you looking to get in shape and having fun doing it while learning a new sport? Then come to the info meeting for the girls wrestling team at lunch on October 23rd in Rm 11 with Mr. Rivera.

•Boys interested in joining the boys wrestling team should come to the info meeting at lunch on October 24 in Rm 11 with Mr Rivera.

•And Girls Water Polo will have a mandatory meeting on November 4 after school on the pool deck.


–Today and tomorrow, Girls Golf competes in League Finals at River Ridge Golf Course.

–Tomorrow, Boys Water Polo and Girls Volleyball play Rio Mesa. 

Girls Volleyball will host Rio Mesa in our gym.
