This entire week and for the next 2 weeks the Counseling team is registering our current students for 2017/2018. This is a process where each student is seen INDIVIDUALLY and given their path to Higher Education as well as A-G completion and remediation if need be to accomplish the District wide goal of every Senior applying to a College or University in 2018.
HHS AOED got a lucky chance to take 20 lucky students to JPL on Tuesday, March 21st. Students had the chance to get close up to smaller scale models of satellites and mobile laboratories currently in space. Students were able to see the giant room where the most recent satellites have been assembled, including the Mars Rover, as well as the Mission Control room, where nail-biting launches and landings are monitored.
Everyone left with fun pictures, informational pamphlets, and some really cool NASA stickers!
