About Us

Welcome to Hueneme High School, Home of the Vikings!

Hueneme was established in 1959 and is part of the Oxnard Union High School District (OUHSD). Located in Oxnard, California, near Port Hueneme, we are proud to offer a wide range of academic and athletics programs, along with a numerous clubs and organizations. Students can take advanced placement classes, enroll in Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways, attend community college via our dual enrollment program with the Ventura County Community College District (VCCCD), play sports, and enjoy extracurricular activities, such as Marching Band, Robotics, and NJROTC.
