Clubs and organizations are a great way to meet new people and participate in activities outside of the classroom. Participate in the annual GeoBowl competition, held at Oxnard College, against all the other high schools in the County.  Each year features a theme and many of the questions stem from that theme.  Focus is on current events, cultural geography, and physical geography.  Members compete as both individuals and as a team.

We mesh or “Link” an upperclassman with five entering Freshman at the annual Freshman Orientation program in late August at the start of the school year to ensure that our newest students feel welcome, at home and are made aware of all of the extracurricular activities that are available to them to enhance and enrich their high school experience. Our upperclassmen make contact twice a month to track their assigned Freshman to learn if they are aware of the services on campus (health, nutrition, counseling, tutoring), that are there FOR them reach their potential as well in sports, clubs, academics and finding friends, support and a sense of caring and community.

We also take part in Red Ribbon Week memorial observations and activities, discourage bullying, enhance positive esteem, and the realization of each student’s potential. We sponsor Anti-Littering efforts on campus, Suicide Prevention promotions, Anti-tobacco, vaping and drug use educational avenues, and elevate the intrinsic value, dignity, respect and appreciation of each member of our campus in celebration of our diversity.
